Overview

Discreet by Design

The WCM-80 mounts flush into the ceiling, leaving only a trimless frame and magnetic micro-perforated grille visible from below. Once installed, it disappears into the architecture — delivering high-quality audio without compromising the look of any room.

Designed for multi-room audio, home cinema height channels or whole-home music systems, the WCM-80 suits any space where aesthetics matter as much as sound.

Pivoting Tweeter Technology

Pivoting Tweeter Technology

A 1" (25 mm) titanium-dome tweeter sits at the heart of the WCM-80, mounted on a pivot so you can aim high frequencies directly toward the listening position. Whether your seating is centred beneath the speaker or offset to one side, accurate stereo imaging and crisp treble follow you there.

This adjustability makes the WCM-80 as effective in an asymmetric living room as it is in a purpose-built listening space — the speaker adapts to the room rather than forcing you to plan around it.

Room-Filling Performance

An 8" (200 mm) polypropylene woofer with a high-excursion rubber surround delivers full, even bass from above — the rigid cone maintaining composure at higher volumes while the generous excursion keeps low frequencies tight and controlled.

With a 45 Hz – 20 kHz frequency response, 88 dB sensitivity, 8 Ω impedance, and a 125 W peak power handling, the WCM-80 suits amplifiers from 30 to 140 W — giving you the flexibility to run it from a dedicated multi-room amplifier or an AV receiver's height-channel output.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the WCM-80 In-ceilling Speaker designed to be installed?

The WCM-80 In-ceilling Speaker is built to mount flush into the ceiling for discreet, space-saving sound. Plan placement for even coverage across the room or zone, and run speaker cable back to your amplifier or multi-room system before fixing it in place.

How many WCM-80 In-ceilling Speaker units do I need?

Install in pairs for even stereo coverage. As a guide, one pair suits a small-to-medium room or zone; larger or open-plan areas sound more even with additional pairs spaced so their coverage overlaps. Plan positions before cutting or fixing.

What do I need to power the WCM-80 In-ceilling Speaker?

The WCM-80 In-ceilling Speaker is a passive speaker, so it runs from a stereo amplifier, AV receiver or a multi-room/custom-install amplifier. Run appropriately rated speaker cable back to the amplifier or matrix and set levels with your volume or zone control.
