The Wharfedale Diamond 11.1 is a compact 2-way bookshelf speaker built for small-to-medium rooms. A 5" (130 mm) woven Kevlar® bass/mid driver and a 1" (25 mm) textile-dome tweeter deliver the detailed, full-bodied British sound the Diamond name is known for — from a cabinet just 325 mm tall. With 87 dB sensitivity and an easy 8Ω load, it pairs happily with amplifiers from 25–100 W, working equally well as a standmount music speaker or as front and surround channels in a home-cinema system.
The Diamond 11.1 carries forward the engineering that made Wharfedale’s Diamond range the benchmark for affordable hi-fi. The woven Kevlar® cone resists break-up for a clean, natural midrange, while the textile-dome tweeter extends smoothly to 20 kHz for airy, fatigue-free treble. A rigid, well-braced 11.1-litre cabinet paired with Wharfedale’s slot-loaded distributed port keeps bass tight and tuneful down to 45 Hz, so music stays composed even at higher volumes.
