Frequently Asked Questions

What size room suits the Reva 4?

The Reva 4 is a floorstanding speaker suited to medium and larger rooms — roughly 18–35 m². Give it about 20–50 cm of breathing room from the rear wall and toe it in slightly toward the listening seat for a focused stereo image.

What amplifier should I pair with the Reva 4?

The Reva 4 presents a nominal 8Ω load and 88dB sensitivity, and Wharfedale recommends roughly 25 - 150W per channel. A quality integrated amplifier or AV receiver in that range drives it cleanly without strain — aim for clean, stable power rather than maximum wattage.

Does the Reva 4 need a subwoofer?

The Reva 4 reaches down to about 38 Hz, so it delivers full, satisfying bass for everyday music listening on its own. In most rooms it won't need one for music; add a Wharfedale subwoofer if you're building a dedicated home-cinema system.

Is the Reva 4 the top model in its range?

The Reva 4 is the flagship floorstander in its series, with the largest drivers and the most output. Step down to the smaller models in the same series if you have a more compact room or want to save a little.

What finishes does the Reva 4 come in?

The Reva 4 is available in Piano Black, Rosewood and Piano White. All finishes are the same speaker acoustically — choose whichever best suits your room. Every option is in stock with free Australian shipping.
