Audio Visual Revolution Pty Ltd – Warranty Policy
"Goods" are all Wharfedale domestic products purchased new from authorised Australian Wharfedale resellers.
This Warranty is given by Audio Visual Revolution Pty Ltd (ACN 130 482 914) ("AVR").
AVR warrants that the Goods will be free from defective workmanship and materials during the Warranty Period ("Warranty").
Please see the section of this document titled "How to make a Warranty claim" for information on how to make a claim under this Warranty and what AVR will do if Goods are defective.
The Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. The Purchaser is entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. The Purchaser is also entitled to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the Goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty granted by AVR in respect of the Goods and, except for other rights and remedies of the Purchaser under the Australian Consumer Law (which are described above), will be the sole and exclusive remedy available to the Purchaser in respect of the Goods.
AVR does not authorise any employees or representatives of any reseller nor any other person to purportedly provide any additional warranties, or to purportedly extend the duration of the Warranty beyond the relevant Warranty Period on behalf of AVR.
The repair, replacement or refund of the defective Goods or Parts at AVR's election will constitute complete fulfilment of all liabilities and responsibilities of AVR to the Purchaser under this Warranty and, subject to any guarantees, remedies and liabilities that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, will constitute full satisfaction of all claims under the Warranty, whether based on contract, negligence, and strict liability otherwise.
AVR will not be liable to the Purchaser or in any way responsible for any incidental or consequential economic or property damage, except to the extent that AVR is in breach of the guarantees provided to the Purchaser in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, or applicable legislation from time to time.
The "Warranty Period" commences on the date of purchase. Wharfedale domestic products are covered by a five (5) year Warranty Period when the product is registered with AVR within ninety (90) calendar days from the date of purchase.
Products not registered within ninety (90) days carry a Limited Warranty of one (1) year from the date of purchase, or the period of the applicable statutory warranty under the Australian Consumer Law, whichever is longer.
To register your product and activate the full five (5) year Warranty Period, visit https://www.avrevolution.com.au/pages/register-your-warranty.
This Warranty does not apply:
Purchasers are only entitled to enforce the rights under this Warranty if they have registered their product online at https://avrevolution.com.au/productwarranty/register/ within ninety (90) calendar days of the date of purchase and have provided the original proof of purchase to AVR at or before the time of making the claim. The proof of purchase must clearly list the model and serial number of the Goods, state the date of purchase of the Goods, the place of purchase of the Goods, provide a description of the Goods and the price paid for the Goods.
A claim made by a Purchaser during the Warranty Period, must be in writing, specify the alleged defect and, along with the Proof of Purchase, be sent by post or email to:

Upon receipt of a claim, AVR will issue to the Purchaser a Return Authority Number, as an acknowledgment that the claim has been lodged by the Purchaser.
Once a Return Authority Number is issued the claim will then be assessed by AVR. The cost of transportation of the Goods will be borne by the Purchaser. AVR may then, at its discretion, repair, replace with a new or remanufactured equivalent, or refund the Goods or part of Goods, depending on the nature of the claim, at no charge to the Purchaser for parts or labour. If the claim is found not to be valid, the Purchaser will be advised accordingly and AVR will not repair, replace or refund the Goods or any part of the Goods.
