The Reva 1 is a compact two-way standmount speaker — the smallest model in Wharfedale’s audiophile Reva range, ideal for small rooms and near-field listening. A 115 mm glass-fibre cone bass/mid driver and a 25 mm textile-dome tweeter deliver a clean, detailed sound.

The rigid glass-fibre cone resists break-up for low colouration, while a bass-reflex cabinet of 6.4 L tuned with a 2 kHz crossover gives a 52 Hz – 20 kHz response and a 95 dB peak SPL. With an 84 dB sensitivity and 8 Ω (4.3 Ω minimum), the Reva 1 rewards a quality amplifier from 20 to 60 W.

Powered by Neodymium magnets fitted with finned heatsinks to reduce dynamic compression, the high-frequency range is a cut above. Vocals so clear and uncoloured you feel like you’re in the front row. And with proprietary glass fibre driver cones and laminated wood panel composites to reduce the sonic character of the cabinets, every vocal harmony, high hat and note played is reproduced in truth to the original recording.
