The Diamond 12.C is a dedicated centre-channel speaker — the dialogue anchor of a Diamond 12 home cinema system. A sealed two-way design with twin 130 mm (5") woven-cone drivers flanking a 25 mm textile-dome tweeter, it delivers clear, intelligible speech that stays locked to the screen.

Unlike the ported models in the range, the 12.C uses a closed-box (sealed) enclosure for tight, controlled output ideal for dialogue, crossing over at 2.2 kHz across a 90 Hz – 20 kHz response. Its 90 dB sensitivity — the highest in the series — and 8 Ω nominal impedance (4 Ω minimum) make it an easy, efficient match for any AV receiver from 20 to 120 W.

Dome tweeters incorporate woven polyester film and high-loss coatings to generate silky smooth high-frequency extension. And with driver systems optimised for wide dispersion, vocals, woodwinds, and strings sections ripple out, wall-to-wall, bathing you in sound.

DETAIL WITH A SIDE OF RIBS

New drive cones include custom-engineered ribbing combined with a low-damping surround. This increases cone rigidity and reduces colouration, giving you a more dynamic, more detailed listening experience – one that honours (not colours) your favourite recordings.

CROSSOVER TO HIGH-END AUDIO

Air core inductors, typically found in the most expensive loudspeakers, produce the lowest distortion of all inductor types. Combined with acoustic LKR 24db crossover topology, it creates incredibly fast, clean bass response. It’s high-end thinking for low-frequency brilliance.

INTELLIGENT SPOT BRACING

Computer simulated design intelligently braces opposing cabinet walls using specific wood composites to create Diamond’s most effective reduction in cabinet resonance. So your favourite recordings shine in vibrant technicolour, not the colour of your speaker cabinets.
