The DS-1 is Wharfedale's first every active wireless speaker, designed from the ground up to integrate all of its components as one into an exceptionally musical package that also incorporates the very latest technologies.
In the DS-1 you will find custom designed drivers powered by a digital amplifier with its very own built in DSP (Digital Signal Processor) to make sure that the DS-1 speakers perform all the time.
Add to this the latest Bluetooth Wireless technology with aptX to ensure CD quality reproduction of your music, and the lower power consumption of any Bluetooth version to date, and NFC (Near Field Communication) for instant connection to the DS-1 from your smart phone device, and you have the ultimate in desktop entertainment from Wharfedale.
